Hi to all.
As I am new Iphone user I am considering getting Case for protecting it. I would like to get the case which would enclose the whole device, not just back part or front part (the screen). What do you think is the best for that?
When you post your opinion, please give a description of your case. Here are things I would like to know:
1. Does your case have access to all buttons including the power button and button to switch between silent and normal mode?
2. Does it have access to usb port and port for headphones?
3. When you manipulate with the phone put in the case or when you pick it from the table for example, doesn't it slide out of the case?
Thank you for your advice and looking forward to your opinions.

I use the otterbox. It is very durable and you can still use your phone at the same time. Its on amazon.com for around $20 right now.

that's a really good case and will protect the phone through almost everything

Yes, the Otterbox is definitely a good case. However, I have the Griffin Survivor. It seems to protect the phone as well as the Otterbox, and is not as bulky. Yes, it does protect both sides of the phone, you have access to all buttons and ports. The phone is encased in a hard plastic shell, which then has what I believe is a firm silicon layer around the edge of that, and over parts of the phone, though of course not the touch screen. The screen is covered by that inner plastic shell, but is still sensitive enough to respond to your fingers moving across it with no problem. I believe both the Otterbox and the Griffin are said to be waterproof, but of course I'd not deliberately test that out. LOL. The ports of the phone are covered by the silicon, but you can easily uncover and access them. Hope that helps.

Oh no, they are not water proof. Please don't try that unless you want to ruin your phone.

I use the SharkEye case. it has a hard plastic shell that surrounds your phone completely, much like the other cases listed above. However, it also has a shutter that covers the screen itself. According to the reviews I've read, several people have dropped their phone onto a sharp corner, which would break the screen with any other case, but the SharkEye protects it. You can access all buttons and ports, and it doesn't increase the bulk of the phone all that much. I paid fifty dollars for it, which is about par I've found, as far as price goes.
Oh, and no, there is no risk of your phone falling out of the case. You have to completely disassemble the case to get the phone out.
